Red Tail Hawk

Every spring my husband brings out the seeder and spends about a month putting seed into the ground for crops. One year, before I had the kids, I ran the seeder. The most amazing thing was watching the large group of birds following alongside and swooping down into the freshly cut sod. On average 6 Red Tail Hawks would be circling around the equipment waiting for a mouse nest to get turned. Before that, I had never seen so many birds of prey in one spot.
