**DESIGN ERROR** Flores La Due Silk Scarf

CA$60.00

Flores La Due was a world‑champion trick roper and a standout performer in early Wild West shows. Alongside her husband, Guy Weadick, she helped launch the very first Calgary Stampede in 1912, shaping it into the iconic event it is today. More than just a performer, Flores was a trailblazer for women in rodeo, embodying skill, courage, and the true spirit of the cowgirl.

This silk scarf was created by my hands, shaped by the life I live and the women who have shaped me. Designed from my original artwork and printed on 100% silk, it’s meant to feel personal — like something passed along, worn often, and carried with intention.

I make my work while living and working in rural Alberta, surrounded by family, animals, and a community that understands both the beauty and the difficulty of this life. This scarf is part of that story. It’s not about perfection or trends, but about belonging, resilience, and finding comfort in the everyday.

Wear it however it fits into your life — dressed up, thrown on, tied and retied. It’s art made by a woman who believes in cheering others on and creating things that feel like home.

Details:
• 100% silk
• 90 x 90 cm

Care: Cold water wash, air dry. Iron on silk setting.
