Flores La Due Blue Twilly

CA$40.00

Flores La Due was a world‑champion trick roper and a standout performer in early Wild West shows. Alongside her husband, Guy Weadick, she helped launch the very first Calgary Stampede in 1912, shaping it into the iconic event it is today. More than just a performer, Flores was a trailblazer for women in rodeo, embodying skill, courage, and the true spirit of the cowgirl.

The silk twilly is one of those pieces that just works. Simple, versatile, and easy to make your own. Designed from my original artwork and printed on silk, it’s meant to slip into your everyday — adding a bit of colour and intention without taking over your look.

I love it because it adds something without feeling like ‘a lot’ around your neck.. You can wrap it around your wrist with your favourite silver cuffs, tie it loosely at your neckline, braid it into your hair, or loop it onto your go-to bag. It’s an easy way to elevate a minimalist outfit while still feeling like yourself.

Finished with a subtle 1” × 1” Renee Gould Art logo on one side only, it’s wearable, understated, and made to move with you.

Details:
• Silk
• 5 × 114 cm
• 1” × 1” Renee Gould Art logo, centred on one side

Care: Machine wash, air dry. Iron on silk setting.
