I was lucky enough to be born and raised on a beautiful, old-school ranch in Southwest Alberta—the kind of place where everything is still done horseback. No quads, no shortcuts. Just good horses, hard work, and deep-rooted tradition.
Our family runs 1,600 black Angus cow-calf pairs, and we do it as a team. My dad, my brother Ryley and his wife Amanda, my sister Colby and her husband Riley, and my husband CoBie and I all live within six miles of each other. We’re incredibly close—Italian-acting, as we like to say—and we still gather at least once a week for supper. That closeness is something my mom instilled in us, and we’ve carried it forward even after losing her to ovarian cancer in 2017.
She was the heart of our family. A self-taught cowgirl, she was born in England, moved to Canada when she was six, and met my dad at just fifteen. They were inseparable until the day she passed. Her strength, creativity, and dedication are part of everything I do.
In high school, I met my now-husband CoBie, and we've been sweethearts ever since. Together, we're raising our three daughters right here on the ranch, continuing the legacy we've been lucky to inherit.
For my 18th birthday, my mom bought me a serger. I started sewing wild rags simply because we couldn’t find any big enough for what we needed on the ranch. I began gifting them to friends and family, and before long, people were requesting them. That passion evolved into something much bigger—and every single Rancherr Wild Rag is still sewn by me, just like in the beginning. I’ve likely sewn thousands by now.
Today, I’m proud to be the owner and designer of Rancherr Boots, where my goal is to build gear that reflects our lifestyle—resilient, rooted, and real. Every piece I create is a tribute to the land I love, the family that raised me, and the cowgirl spirit that keeps us riding forward.
